The linear live-stream solution securely and simultaneously transmits DigiCipher-encrypted services over satellite and terrestrial networks. The 1RU chassis features a COTS server,redundant RAID hard drive and dual hot-swappable power supplies and fans. A unifiedconditional access and control environment is provided for all satellite and CDN-fedCommScope IRDs.

VDP-1000 is an integral part of the DigiCipher Streaming solution that also includes theCommScope Modular Uplink system, content publishing to cloud-based origin servers andCDNs, and distribution to CommScope IRDs (DSR-74xx/4450/4470).
